Finals D=

The title is misleading because I'm not going to talk about finals, instead I'm going to talk about something I enjoy (or I think I still enjoy) doing: playing video games. I'm a lone gamer, so I don't really enjoy those MMOs (Massive Multiplayer Online games).  A mix of not wanting to communicate with immature idiots, a lack of buddies who are interested in playing (to my knowledge anyways), and they don't look all that interesting anyways...Although, I believe my lack of interest in these games might also be due to what video games mean to me. They are a means of escape, running to a virtual reality where I could be anything I wanted: a superpowered plumber, a swordsman, a lawyer, a magician, the list could go on. I'm exploring a new world that belongs to me, with abilities that aren't possible in reality. With games, I don't have to face problems in reality, at least, for the time being. Problems in RPGs are so easy to solve, most of the time you just have to find a monster and beat it up. It's that simple. And if you screw up, there's always the reset button.

Side note: I do enjoy playing coop games with my bro sometimes...and party games are really fun with a bunch of people (who are physically there). The Wii is especially awesome for party games!

Recently, I haven't been enjoying games as much though. It kinda scares me. Every time I look at a save file that indicates the hours I have spent, I think "What the hell have I been doing with my time??"
